Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Mechanic at REEDER CONCRETE INC. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repairs on heavy equipment used in concrete construction as well as regular work trucks. You will be troubleshooting equipment issues, diagnosing problems, and ensuring that all equipment is in good working condition. Your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and efficiency of our construction projects.


Qualifications

  • Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, and Maintenance & Repair skills
  • Experience with heavy equipment used in construction
  • Troubleshooting skills to identify and fix equipment issues
  • Knowledge of safety guidelines and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Experience in the construction industry is a plus
  • Technical certification or degree in a related field is beneficial
