Logistics Analyst

Job Description:

• Will support the logistic supply chain function of Client HQ.
• Through data gathering and analysis, you will boost the effectiveness of supply chain operations.
• This position requires a background in pricing analysis with proven accomplishments with cross-functional teamwork, as such, we are seeking someone who will be responsible for analyzing cost/price data to determine price reasonableness, validate charges on our carrier invoices versus the original purchase order, and match them to the appropriate general ledger code.
• This is a support role, responsible for the Freight Audit and Payment process.
• As such, the ideal candidate will be experienced in Microsoft Excel as well as quick to learn software applications as needed, such as SAP Concur to process payments.

Responsibilities:

• Fully responsible for the Freight Audit and Payment process, ensuring on-time freight transportation payment to our transportation suppliers as per the contracted pay terms.
• Ensure proposed freight charges from the carrier are valid and accurate, coding the invoices into our payment system to route freight charges back to the appropriate program.
• Ability to prioritize, schedule, organize, focus on, and complete work.
• Work with buyers to collect information about vendors, goods, and services.
