We are seeking a dynamic Senior Project Manager to join our team, responsible for overseeing and delivering complex projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile, and possess proficiency in tools such as Smartsheet and Resource Manager. Familiarity with ITIL Framework and LEAN practices will be crucial for optimizing project workflows and ensuring efficient resource allocation.


Key Responsibilities:


Project Planning and Execution:

  • Lead the planning and execution of projects, adhering to both Waterfall and Agile methodologies as appropriate.
  • Utilize Smartsheet and Resource Manager tools to manage project timelines, resources, and dependencies effectively.
  • Apply ITIL Framework principles to align project deliverables with IT service management standards.
  • Implement LEAN practices to streamline project workflows and improve operational efficiency.


Project Management and Coordination:

  • Act as the company’s project manager for cross-organizational projects and new product releases undertaken within the organization.
  • Work across the organization to ensure coordination and timely execution of projects and product releases, aligning with company goals.
  • Manage internal or externally facing cross-organizational projects as identified by ZRT management, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.


Communication and Leadership:

  • Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management framework.
  • Mentor and coach junior project management staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, IT, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience 5-7 years as a Project Manager, managing large-scale projects from initiation to closure.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in clinical testing
  • Strong knowledge of Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using Smartsheet and Resource Manager for project planning and resource allocation.
  • Familiarity with ITIL Framework principles and their application in IT service management.
  • Experience implementing LEAN practices to optimize project processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience in cross-organizational project management, including coordination of department-specific or externally facing projects.


Preferred:

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is a plus.
  • Master’s degree in business administration, IT, engineering or related field.
