Immediate need for a senior estimator to work in the "special projects" division of a leading General Contractor with more than 60 years in the industry, a huge pipeline of work and phenomenal leadership, pay and benefits.


Projects that range between $1M - $20M including; ground up, renovation and tenant improvement


**Key Requirements:

-10+ years experience in construction with 3+ years in an estimating capacity

on project ranging from $1—$20Million

-Experienced with GMP & Lump Sum bids and Conceptual estimating

for Ground up/Renovation/Tenant improvements projects

-Established Relationships with Orange County, Los Angeles and inland empire clients and subcontractors

-Bachelor’s degree

-10 years working experience in the industry.


QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience of 10 years within our industry. Field experience a plus. Ability to prepare complex proposals with minimal supervision. Detailed, highly organized, and focused. Thorough knowledge of estimating techniques, engineering disciplines and sub-trade required.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Overall planning and management of estimating activities for specific construction projects, including preparation, interpretation, and presentation of estimates.
  • Review proposal specifications, drawings, attend pre-estimate meetings, analyze request for proposals to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate
  • Provide conceptual and final estimating input on complex projects
  • Determine labor and construction equipment costs
  • Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing
  • Ensure all working documents and data are maintained
  • Track awarded contracts as required; may include estimating/pricing extra work items, change orders, credit, procuring materials on major work items
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned


Salary Range for Sr. Estimator: $150k-$200k based upon experience.
