Job Description:
A leading commercial contractor in Sacramento, is seeking an experienced and dedicated HVAC Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over a decade of experience in the HVAC industry and a proven track record in commercial projects. This role offers competitive hourly pay, a take-home company truck, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair on commercial projects.
- Lead a team of HVAC technicians, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the course of a project.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily logs and material usage.
- Ensure all safety protocols are strictly followed, promoting a safe work environment.
- Train and mentor junior technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the HVAC industry, with significant experience in commercial projects.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, installation techniques, and maintenance practices.
- Strong understanding of local, state, and federal HVAC codes and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid HVAC certification and relevant licenses.
- Clean driving record and the ability to utilize a company-provided take-home truck.
