Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Community Manager at Venture X in Rolling Meadows, IL. This opportunity is NOT hybrid or remote. As a Community Manager, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing our co-working community, fostering connections and collaboration among our members. You will also be responsible for organizing and promoting events and workshops, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a welcoming and productive environment for all members.


Qualifications/Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a customer service/client facing position
  • Degree or diploma in business, marketing, or related field is beneficial
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and marketing strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple responsibilities
  • Self-motivated and proactive in building relationships
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of the co-working industry and entrepreneurial ecosystem is a plus
  • High standard of customer service and strong written and oral skills
  • Excellent organizational & time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate flexibility
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Good IT knowledge


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to handle interruptions to workflow
  • Ability to receive written or oral instructions
  • Ability to work with a variety of individuals
  • Ability to listen and respond clearly
  • Hearing – Ability to receive detailed information through oral and telephone communication
  • Talking – Clearly expresses ideas by means of spoken word
  • Repetitive Motions – Substantial movements of wrists, hands and fingers.
  • Vision – Ability to see and read
  • Crouching, kneeling, standing, climbing, stooping, walking, pushing, pulling, sitting and lifting
  • Ability to handle small tools such as a drill, hammer, screwdriver, etc.
