Kelly Engineering is recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor at our client located in Stanton, TN where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, quality, and efficiency of the operations of a brand new, state-of-the-art EV Battery Manufacturer. We are seeking a motivated individual with strong leadership skills to lead our maintenance team to success. Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and corporate policies.
  • Review safety metrics and drive improvement initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison for safety audits and compliance checks.
  • Direct maintenance processes to enhance quality metrics.
  • Develop and implement strategies to tighten tolerances and improve functionality.
  • Coordinate resources to ensure smooth start-ups and operations.
  • Lead meetings and analyze constraints to eliminate bottlenecks.
  • Promote continuous improvement to enhance product quality and reduce costs.
  • Optimize equipment efficiency and throughput to meet budget objectives.
  • Manage material control and maintenance programs to maximize productivity.
  • Supervise skilled trade employees and foster a positive work environment.
  • Develop team capabilities and provide mentorship.
  • Participate in scheduling and production coordination meetings.
  • Plan and prioritize maintenance activities to maximize equipment effectiveness.
  • Integrate maintenance plans into departmental business objectives.
  • Utilize systems to document and analyze maintenance activities for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental standards and regulations.


Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience in skilled trades or technical support.
  • 3-5 years of automotive experience preferred.
  • Ability to work any shift in a 7-day pattern.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict management abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel and work remotely during the initial plant start-up phase.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and constraint management principles.
