Audit Supervisor

Position Overview

The Audit Supervisor will oversee and manage audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial statements and for leading a team of auditors to deliver high-quality audit services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise audit engagements from planning through completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets.
  • Review and evaluate internal controls and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare and present audit findings to management and clients, ensuring clear communication of complex information.
  • Mentor and train junior auditors, fostering a collaborative and educational environment.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and enhance audit methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5+ years of experience in audit, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of auditing standards and procedures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Certification as a CPA is preferred but not required.
