Our client, a well-known travel management company that operates in over 140 countries, is hiring a Corporate Event Planner to join their team. This role will be onsite in Alpharetta, GA.


*This is a 6 month W2 contract with benefits*


In this role, you will serve as a liaison for clients and lead a variety of programs. You will manage meetings and events through the execution of logistics, coordinate program planning, and handle file billing.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage and negotiate additional hotel needs, destination management company, air, and third-party contracts
  • Monitor dates, cancellation policies, and ensure contracted services are executed
  • Maintain proactive, open lines of communication with clients to ensure client satisfaction
  • Manage overall program budgets, review and audit all program-related billing
  • Support their worldwide clients with site inspections and program operations


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of corporate event planning experience
  • CMP certification is required
  • A valid passport is required
  • Experience working with meeting industry technologies including CVENT
