Project Field Engineer/Junior Estimator | Land Clearing, Right of Way Clearing, Access Construction


Land Clearing contractor, located in the Northeast, is currently looking to fill a Junior Estimating/Field Engineer position. Scope of work company performs includes major Heavy Highway Land Clearing, Right of Way Clearing (including Power and Gas Utilities), and other large scale clearing operations; along with access solutions, site excavations, environmental control installations, and rock crushing/material production.


Candidate would need to possess estimating experience of 1-3 years within the construction industry or have a suitable educational degree in Civil/Construction/Engineering/Construction Management Studies. Clearing experience a major advantage. Must be willing to be in the construction field and travel. Office location in Suffield, CT, but company does perform work nationwide. Candidate will be expected to work in office 5 days a week for 50% of the year, and 50% of the year traveling working 6 days per week onsite for projects. Salary increased on the road, and paid per diem.


Candidate should be versed in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Project, and Access. Along with some form of 2D-3D modeling, and experience using Google Earth. Room for growth as experience is gained.
