Summary:

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join their team. The Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in analyzing financial data, forecasting future financial performance, and providing actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making. This position will support various departments and senior management with financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze financial data and trends to support decision-making processes.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis.

- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.

- Monitor and analyze key financial performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.

- Conduct financial analysis for specific projects, business cases, and capital investments.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights for financial evaluations.

- Identify areas for cost reduction and operational improvements.

- Maintain and update financial models to forecast business performance and assist in long-term planning.

- Assist in preparing presentations for senior management, investors, and stakeholders.

- Stay current on financial regulations, industry trends, and economic developments.

Language Ability:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

 

Math Ability:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

 

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

 

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word, Excel, Netsuite, Quickbooks Online, Paychex, Google Suite.

 

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus
