Robert Half is seeking a talented Systems/Network Administrator with a reputable company located in San Francisco. The hands-on Systems/Network Administrator should be well versed in a Windows environment, including on prem/ cloud and VMware. This position is immediately open for interviews and is a temporary to permanent position in nature.



Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations.
  • Deploy, manage and maintain VMware virtual environments.
  • Implement, manage and monitor patch deployments.
  • Administer and manage the Office 365/Azure environment.
  • Interact with vendors to ensure optimization of third-party systems.
  • Maintain uptime for all systems in a hosted site environment.
  • Manage processes in a primary Microsoft shop.
  • Administer and maintain Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
  • Maintain and troubleshoot issues within a Cisco environment – switches, routers.
  • Assist with procurement and replacement of end-of-life equipment.
  • Provide support to a user base of approximately 100 employees.



Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Systems/Network Administrator or similar role in an IT environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of VMware.
  • Experience with security deployment and patch management.
  • Experience administering Office 365/Azure environment.
  • Experience working with Microsoft technologies.
  • Understanding of Cisco switches and routers.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a team and vendors.
