The Board Operations Specialist plays a key role in providing efficient and effective support to the Office of the Secretary. The incumbent works closely with the Board Secretary and the Assistant Board Secretary to support the coordination, facilitation and recording of the activities of the Office of the Secretary. The Board Operations Specialist contributes to projects and programs to improve the work and enhance the mission of the Office of the Secretary. The Board Operations Specialist is a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention to details. This position necessitates a commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, attention to detail and significant latitude of independent judgment and discretion on a routine basis.


Minimum Education Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field; or:
  • Associate’s in business management or related field with five (5) years of progressive administrative experience inclusive of providing direct responsibility for ensuring a Board’s (or equivalent) business is carried out properly; or
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with seven (7) years of progressive administrative experience inclusive of providing direct responsibility for ensuring a Board’s (or equivalent) business is carried out properly.
