Our client is on the lookout for a dynamic and self-motivated Staff Accountant with at least 5 years of experience in Accounting/Finance. This exciting role involves managing, developing, and coordinating the control function, including budgeting, planning, and precise financial reporting. You’ll work closely with the CFO, providing essential financial management support, and collaborate with a team of talented associates across the organization.

Responsibilities:

- Provide weekly management reports for business units

- Prepare financial documents such as business reports, financial forecasts, and statements to assess the business's financial state

- Monitor financial reports and identify cost reduction opportunities

- Stay updated on the financial market to maximize profits and explore new expansion areas

- Ensure the company's financials comply with legal requirements and maintain good standing

- Develop, update, and implement systems and processes for all aspects of accounting internal/external reporting


What You Need:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance Communications, or a related field, with a preference and/or passion in Accounting

- 5+ years of experience as a manager or supervisor in construction-related fields, with responsibilities including management, P&Ls, and project oversight

- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Sage 300/Intacct or other construction services systems

- Ability to define and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive insights and development

- Proven project and organizational management experience; ability to engage with senior stakeholders and deliver key projects

- Onsite work in our offices is required for this role
