Our practice provides comprehensive mental health and faith-based counseling services, integrating psychological principles with Christian values to support the holistic well-being of our clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions to a diverse client population.
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate both clinical and faith-based approaches.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational difficulties.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress notes in compliance with state regulations and practice policies.
  • Participate in regular supervision and team meetings to discuss case progress and receive feedback.
  • Collaborate with other counselors, healthcare providers, and community resources to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with advancements in counseling practices and faith-based interventions.
  • Uphold the ethical standards and guidelines of the counseling profession and the principles of Christian faith in all client interactions.


Qualifications:

  • Active New Jersey state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC).
  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Strong commitment to integrating Christian faith and values with clinical counseling practices when needed.
  • Proven experience in providing mental health counseling to individuals, couples, and families.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings and weekends, based on client needs.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Specialized training or certification in Christian counseling or pastoral counseling.
  • Experience with crisis intervention and trauma-informed care.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus.
