We are looking for a new team member in our consumer bankruptcy practice who can perform paralegal and legal assistant responsibilities including answering income and outbound calls, perform admin functions and track client progress through our software. We are a family owned law firm helping people for over 35 years.


Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Bankruptcy Paralegal at OBryan Law Offices in Louisville, KY. The Bankruptcy Paralegal will be responsible for answering incoming and outbound calls, assisting with bankruptcy case filings, drafting legal documents, and maintaining case files. They will also communicate with clients, attorneys, and court personnel.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents
  • Knowledge of bankruptcy laws and procedures
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Previous experience working in a law firm or legal setting
  • Associate's degree in paralegal studies or related field
