Our client is growing exponentially and seeks an experienced Director of Accounting (Revenue) to support their thriving organization in developing solid operational and systems processes.

This is a remote role requiring occasional travel to offices in Denver, Colorado or Portland, Oregon

Director of Accounting (Revenue) Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of two Inventory Accounting Managers tasked with discovering and recording inventory by tracking items through the manufacturing process, starting with the original purchase order number.
  • Organize and review the data collected by two Inventory Accounting Managers and prepare inventory reports for management.
  • Develop and implement inventory processes and controls in Excel.
  • Work closely with 3rd party Audit firm and management to create an inventory accounting process in the ERP system.


Director of Accounting (Revenue) Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA required (active license preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience as a Cost Accounting Manager, Controller, or Director of Accounting in mid-large manufacturing organization.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing operations and developing inventory processes.
  • Tech-savvy with ERP systems (NetSuite or similar preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with a company with manufacturing operations overseas is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Thrives in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
