Position Summary

Our client is seeking a seasoned Document Services Specialist to produce both standard and complex documents using a variety of word processing techniques. This role involves merging data, making corrections, tracking changes, and performing additional clerical tasks as needed. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel, is essential for creating letters, reports, forms, and legal documents from rough drafts, corrected copies, or voice recordings.


Key Responsibilities

  • Draft letters, briefs, memoranda, and other documents according to attorney guidelines.
  • Perform spell checks, proofreading, and cross-checking to ensure document accuracy and completeness.
  • Correct compiled documents and clean them of metadata as necessary.
  • Utilize conversion applications to format documents according to client standards.
  • Electronically transfer and receive documents from clients.
  • Conduct EDGAR filings as required.
  • Participate in ongoing interdepartmental training for document services.
  • Assist the team in meeting client deadlines.
  • Stay updated on specialized applications and upgrades to maximize efficiency and productivity.


Experience and Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred.
  • Extensive legal word processing experience with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
