The Senior Manager, Learning and Development is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining learning programs that foster professional growth, mobility, and development, ensuring all staff have the appropriate skills, knowledge, and abilities to perform in their current positions and grow into roles of increasing responsibility over time. The Senior Manager will work to inspire an organization-wide culture of learning, growth and belonging. This position will launch leadership development and career path programs aligned with organizational goals and values. This position is expected to develop and deliver innovative learning programs that enable the retention, attraction, and success of exceptional talent.

Senior Manager Learning and Development Position Summary

The Senior Manager Learning and Development designs, implements, and maintains learning programs to promote professional growth, mobility, and development. Develops and delivers innovative learning programs to retain, attract, and empower exceptional talent.


Major Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Designs and delivers diverse learning programs and organizational interventions across various modalities.
  • Establishes learning center of excellence and enhances learning processes, service delivery, product execution, strategic direction, and change management.
  • Initiates leadership development and career path programs in alignment with organizational goals and values.
  • Partners with human resources business partners to identify business challenges and implement tailored learning programs and team interventions.
  • Manages learning management system, overseeing administration, course approvals, and service delivery coordination.
  • Establishes and analyzes workforce analytics for learning development and engagement challenges.
  • Collates feedback and reports key performance indicators for program success.
  • Facilitates executive-level learning interventions as needed.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, organizational psychology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of learning and development experience.
  • Prior experience in managing learning and development programs and projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and human capital management talent systems.
