Manufacturing Production Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Production Supervisor to lead and facilitate the safe operations of our 3rd shift value stream team. This role involves ensuring high levels of customer service, product quality, regulatory compliance, and achieving financial performance goals, including cost reductions. The Contract Supervisor will develop competence through structured work and guidance from senior peers.


3rd shift Sunday – Thr 10:30 pm to 7:00am, with an average of 1.5 hours of overtime per day


Core Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Create a safety-first environment and conduct regular safety gembas.
  • Delegate tasks to meet daily production schedules.
  • Train team members to required job standards.
  • Engage with the team through regular 1:1s.
  • Accurately document time and attendance weekly.
  • Ensure effective communication within the team.
  • Coordinate activities within the shift to meet production schedules.
  • Manage compliance processes for material checks, line clearance, and spot checks.
  • Address compliance issues promptly to avoid production impacts.
  • Facilitate smooth shift handovers.


Job Qualifications (Minimum Requirements):

  • Bachelor’s degree required; preference for degrees in sciences or engineering.
  • Experience in the regulated pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems like SAP.
  • Knowledge of safety, quality systems, and cGMP required.
  • Familiarity with documentation in regulated environments and good writing skills.
  • Experience in aseptic production environments is desirable.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 8+ years’ experience in manufacturing/production processes.
  • Proficiency in computer use and scheduling.
  • Knowledge of industrial automation and equipment validation.


Preferred (Not Required) Skills:

  • OEE (Operational Equipment Efficiency) experience.
  • Infor scheduling program experience.
