A leading and innovative manufacturing company dedicated to producing high-quality products for a diverse clientele is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor for their state-of-the-art facility. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Manufacturing Production Lead to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of delivering excellence in manufacturing.


Compensation: $80k-$85k base + Overtime/Bonus = $95k+ Total Compensation. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, PTO, etc.


Schedule: Weekend Shift.


A Shift: Fri 7-3pm, Sat 7-7pm, Sun 7-7PM, Mon 7am-3pm


B Shift: Fri 11pm-7am, Sat 7pm-7am, Sun 7pm-7am, Mon 11pm-7AM


Responsibilities:

Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production operators, ensuring optimal performance and fostering a positive work environment. Monitor and evaluate team members' performance, providing constructive feedback and implementing performance improvement plans as needed. Collaborate with other department managers to ensure smooth coordination of activities across the organization.

Production Oversight: Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the production floor, ensuring smooth and efficient manufacturing processes. Monitor production schedules and adjust resources as needed to meet production targets and customer demands.

Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of production operators, providing guidance, support, and training to foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and safety. Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement development plans to maximize the team's potential.

Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the Quality Assurance department to maintain and uphold strict quality standards throughout the production process. Ensure compliance with quality control procedures and address any non-conformance issues promptly and effectively.

Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of continuous improvement, applying Lean Manufacturing principles and other improvement methodologies to optimize processes, reduce waste, and increase productivity. Lead and participate in Kaizen events and improvement projects.

Production Efficiency: Implement best practices to maximize production efficiency and minimize downtime. Utilize data-driven approaches and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.

Safety Compliance: Uphold and enforce safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Conduct safety training sessions and promote a safety-first mindset among the production team.

Resource Management: Optimize resource allocation, including materials, manpower, and equipment, to achieve production goals in a cost-effective manner.

Communication and Collaboration: Foster effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment in achieving production objectives.


Requirements:

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies: (Six Sigma, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and Kaizen Events, DMAIC, 8-Disciplines, PDCA, RCA, TPM, Poka-Yoke, SMED, and other CI tools)

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive positive change throughout the organization.

High level of attention to detail, with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire a diverse production team.
