LHH is searching for an HR Manager for one of our manufacturing clients. The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices. This role will have 2 direct reports at multiple locations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract, retain, and develop a diverse and high-performance workforce aligned with core values.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Assess training needs and monitor training programs to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  • Executive and Leadership Team Support.
  • Oversee all HR initiatives, systems, and tactics (compensation, benefits, development, etc.).
  • Maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Develop, review, or improve employee programs.
  • Recommend best practices; review and modify company policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Monitor HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates and cost-per-hire) and provide guidance to leadership.
  • Support succession planning initiatives and review to ensure up to date.



Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
  • 5+ years' experience in Human Resources
  • Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
  • Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
  • Attention to detail and good judgement
