Job Description:

  • Experience leading large software implementation projects.
  • Available resources to manage a multi-county project similar in size and importance.
  • Work will include assessing each county’s needs, assisting in software demonstrations, consulting on proposed solutions, preparing data for migration, project scheduling, software implementation, and post implementation testing.
  • Should have Multi-County Assessment and Taxation Software Implementation
  • New system will need to be designed to enhance and streamline the processes and procedures for property appraisal, assessment, and valuation in accordance with and aligning seamlessly with Oregon tax law and will be capable of collection and distribution of property tax revenue.
  • Project objective is to migrate from the existing legacy system to a modern, user-friendly alternative
  • Meet with each County to understand each county’s goals for the project and advise counties on overall project approach and preliminary schedule.
  • Assist counties in review and scoring of products demonstrations
  • Advise each county regarding software configurations and/or customizations to meet each counties’ needs.
  • Monitor project status and communicate status with each county regularly.
  • Collaborate with project team to ensure project success.
  • Monitor new software as it runs concurrently with current software through the tax certification process.


Qualifications:

  • Familiarity of assessment and taxation processes and procedures in Oregon
  • Knowledge of the Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal (CAMA) system, taxation software, as well as relevant state and federal regulations.
  • Include up to three previous projects that are similar in scope. Include description, overall time to complete, results, and overall cost, and reference contact information.
