Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Drywall Project Manager to oversee all aspects of our drywall projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drywall installation and possess project management skills to effectively coordinate and lead our team to successful project completion. This is a crucial role in our construction company and requires a detail-oriented individual who can handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate all aspects of drywall projects, including scheduling, materials, and labor
  • Communicate and collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure project requirements are met
  • Oversee the installation of drywall, including measuring, cutting, and hanging
  • Manage project budgets and ensure projects are completed within budget constraints
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed on job sites
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reports
  • Train and supervise team members to ensure quality workmanship
  • Handle any issues or challenges that arise during the project and find effective solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in drywall materials and techniques

Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in drywall installation
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in the construction industry
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans
  • Familiarity with construction project management software
  • Leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate a team
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field (nice to have)
  • Certifications in drywall installation or project management (nice to have)
