About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager/Engineer to join our Public Works Division. Ideal candidates will have a background in civil or environmental engineering, with at least four years of experience, and a strong focus on water management in municipal and industrial settings. This role offers leadership growth potential within the team, with mentorship from the division director and an opportunity to guide junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Regional Director to manage daily operations and project execution.
- Lead civil engineering projects, particularly in municipal and industrial water/wastewater management.
- Build and maintain client relationships, driving business development efforts.
- Oversee project teams through design phases (conceptual to final) and construction.
- Manage project quality, client communications, and operational requirements for assigned projects.
- Prepare regulatory permit applications and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Draft project proposals, define scopes, and establish timelines and budgets.
- Train and mentor junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and team accountability.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years in civil engineering, with a preference for public works and water management.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Licensure: P.E. license in New Hampshire (or the ability to obtain it through reciprocity).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and familiar with NH regulations and client requirements.
- Leadership: Previous project management experience and a desire to develop and lead engineering teams.
