We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong background in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and supply chain management experience to join our team and lead critical projects that enhance our supply chain and warehouse operations.


About the Role:

The IT Project Manager with Warehouse Management Experience will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing projects focused on optimizing and implementing Warehouse Management Systems. The role requires a deep understanding of WMS, supply chain processes, and IT project management methodologies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, logistics, and IT, to ensure seamless integration and operation of warehouse systems.


Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Lead and manage IT projects related to Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) from initiation through to completion.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resources, risk assessments, and stakeholder communications.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.


Warehouse Management System Expertise:

  • Assist in analyzing existing warehouse processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with warehouse operations to understand requirements.
  • Participate in the selection, and implementation of WMS solutions, ensuring they align with business objectives.


Stakeholder Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact between IT, warehouse operations, and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure a common understanding of project goals and progress.
  • Prepare and deliver regular project updates to senior management and other stakeholders.


Technical Oversight:

  • Provide guidance and support to the technical teams involved in the project, ensuring that all IT solutions are implemented effectively.
  • Oversee the integration of WMS with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, TMS).
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the WMS.


Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to enhance warehouse operations through technology and process improvements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in WMS technology.
  • Lead post-implementation reviews to assess the success of projects and identify lessons learned.



Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is preferred.


Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex IT projects from start to finish.
  • Experience with WMS software (e.g., SAP EWM, Manhattan Associates, Oracle WMS).


Skills:

  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
