Ideal candidates would be someone who comes from a technology background and moved over to finance. This is not an IS manager but someone who is aware of new tech such as AI, ML.
Strong traditional PM skills, strategic thought partner, change management and ability to connect the dots. There have 4 different departments within the Financial Mgmt. group who are not aware of what each is doing. This person will help align these areas to the common deliverable.

SMCI is seeking a Sr Project Management consultant.to support a large finance and technology Initiative. This consultant will work with the leads over four key Finance processes – contract origination (Lifecycle), Buying (P2P), Accounting Process and Forecasting Process.
Each process area has a leader with project plans in place. This consultant will work with leadership in each area to consolidate, navigate across all workstreams, understand the bigger picture, including what are the dependencies, risks, and issues across all 4 departments. This role will help all leads and their respective workstreams to have cohesion, working synergistically.
Role requires a seasoned senior manager, experienced in managing large projects, with multiple stakeholders, and multiple org units working with the company’s ADI/DTI organizations.
Understand all deliverables; collaborative; timelines, schedules, planning, follow up, driver.
Change management, anticipates next steps, what needs to go first, second third, concurrently.

Preferred experience would include experience with the following financial areas but is not required:
- Contracts
- Buying (Procure to Pay)
- Accounting
- Forecasting
Tools: Smartsheets; Advanced Excel, PowerPoiint, Visio, Agile
