  • To check the contract documentation (especially credit and collateral agreements) and to ensure that the decision is implemented, in particular with respect to any restrictive provisions, covenants and/or collaterals
  • Identification and early detection of risks, perception of risk signals with proactive approach, maintaining name and accurate data in the Early Warning Tool (EWT and/or Credit Watchlist)
  • Risk classification (situational) in cooperation with other COs to ensure a consistent, comprehensible credit policy
  • To take into account portfolio targets
  • To monitor and define deteriorations in creditworthiness and to pass on such commitments to the Intensive Treatment units in line with the applicable guideline (right/duty to tender)
  • Duty to inform Group Head or Head of Department of process disruptions, problematic cases, relevant decisions in individual cases
  • To comply with the Service Level Agreements in terms of quantity and quality
  • To ensure data quality (e.g. Rating, Exposure Grids, Collateral, CRR etc.), especially with respect to regulatory requirements (Basel II, KWG)
  • To promote the transfer of know-how and experience as well as team spirit
  • To assist the Head of Department or Group Head in performing risk-management tasks in their area (e.g. portfolio analyses)
