Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Process Engineering team, providing guidance and mentorship to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement process improvement strategies to optimize production efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Operations, and Quality Assurance to ensure seamless integration of new processes and technologies.
  • Establish and maintain process engineering standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Drive innovation in process design and technology utilization to support business growth and competitive advantage.
  • Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support to resolve complex process issues.
  • Manage budgetary and resource allocation for process engineering projects.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to process engineering.
  • Foster a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous learning within the Process Engineering team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing plant.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading process improvement initiatives and managing a team of engineers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in process simulation software and familiarity with regulatory standards and requirements.
  • Leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred.
