BOOKKEEPER AND HR MANAGER
· Provides financial oversight for the recognition, recording, review and presentation of the financial statements for non-profit with generally accepted accounting principles and organizational standards.
· Audits and reviews the recording of donations performed by the development staff for completeness and accuracy
· Oversees year-end financial audits
· Prepares monthly financial statements for CEO and Board
· Prepares and coordinates month end close schedules
· Prepares, reviews journal entries for month end work
· Responsible for fixed asset list
· Assists in the preparation operating and capital budgets
· Assists in preparation of proformas for new cost centers
· Prepares schedules for tax and non-profit filings
· Provides analytic reports and support to Management and CEO
· Proficient in Quickbooks and payroll software
· Manages accounting software systems
· Reviews and monitors internal controls pertaining to financial
reporting and compliance
· Identifies key risks
· Reviews depreciation calculations and account reconciliations for
consistency and accuracy
· Administers employee health benefits and PTO
· Responds to employee questions regarding compensation, taxes, benefits and deductions
· Enters new employee information into payroll system
· Calculates employee benefits and deductions
· Updates employee handbook
· Records and reviews work hours and tracks employee absences
· Provide onboarding paperwork to new employees
· Maintain all HR files
· Post ads on recruitment sites for new employees
· Special projects as assigned
