Summary

As a Jira Administrator, you will be responsible for the management and technical administration of our Jira and SharePoint platforms. This role requires a blend of content management expertise and technical skills to ensure both platforms are optimized, secure, and effectively supporting our business processes.


Responsibilities


Jira Administration

  • Configure and manage Jira projects, workflows, screens, custom fields, and permissions
  • Maintain and optimize Jira instances, ensuring high availability and performance
  • Integrate Jira with other tools and systems as needed
  • Provide user support and training on Jira functionalities and best practices
  • Develop and implement processes for effective issue tracking and project management using Jira
  • Ensure the security and compliance of Jira data and configurations


Content Management

  • Oversee the organization, storage, and retrieval of digital content within SharePoint
  • Ensure content is up-to-date, accurate, and easily accessible to users
  • Develop and enforce content management policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with content owners to maintain a consistent and organized content structure
  • Implement metadata and tagging strategies to improve content discoverability


SharePoint Administration

  • Manage and maintain SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, and permissions
  • Develop and implement SharePoint workflows and custom forms to automate business processes
  • Perform regular audits and maintenance of SharePoint content and structure
  • Provide training and support to end-users on SharePoint functionalities and best practices
  • Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and design SharePoint solutions that meet business needs
  • Ensure the security and compliance of SharePoint content and applications


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Jira Administrator
  • Strong understanding of Jira architecture, configuration, and administration
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • An understanding of SharePoint architecture, configuration and administration would be ideal
  • Experience with integrating SharePoint and Jira with other enterprise systems is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator, Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator) are highly desirable
