Creatives On Call is seeking a talented Packaging Production Artist for a hybrid role in the New York City metro area. This position involves a 6-9 month full-time contract, combining remote work with occasional onsite collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and extensive experience in packaging design and production. You will play a vital role in bringing creative packaging concepts to life, ensuring they are production-ready and meet the highest quality standards.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and prepare packaging designs for production, ensuring accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to refine and finalize packaging artwork.
  • Prepare and maintain print-ready files, ensuring all technical specifications are met for various packaging materials.
  • Work closely with vendors and production partners to oversee the production process and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  • Ensure consistency and quality across all packaging materials, conducting thorough reviews and proofing.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a Packaging Production Artist or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing packaging design and production work.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other relevant design software.
  • Solid understanding of print production processes, packaging materials, and technical specifications.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a hybrid work setting.
  • Availability to work full-time for the duration of the contract, with flexibility to attend onsite meetings in the New York City metro area as needed.
