A RARE opportunity to work with Shama Hyder, the senior Zen Media team, and the growth-driven, modern PR and marketing team at Zen Media


This is a hybrid position - partially in the office in Miami, FL.


You will be responsible for deal cycles from appointment generation through closing. This will include hunting new leads, researching new leads, working with our outbound system/process, contacting prospects, setting appointments, working with leadership on client proposals and game plans, following up on agreements, and securing new B2B business accounts. You will be accountable for hitting metrics that will lead to selling the Zen Media PR and Marketing services to clients in the south FL region, with support from our leadership and highly seasoned marketing team.


You will be 1 of 2 total Outside Sales Representatives at Zen Media → The world is your oyster for opportunity and growth in the south FL region.


This is all about appointment setting → Leadership will support closing and set you up for success on our game plan proposal decks for closing, which has resulted in a higher-than-average close rate in the last few years.


Compensation includes base + commission.

Responsibilities


  • You will be accountable for hitting metrics that will lead to selling the Zen Media PR and Marketing services to clients in the south FL region, with support from our leadership and highly seasoned marketing team
  • Cold call potential clients according to the assigned metrics
  • Generate and confirm appointments through prospecting, building a consistent pipeline to meet sales goals for new business
  • Build value-added relationships with prospects within assigned territory and develop new client accounts to increase revenue
  • Sustain a pipeline of suitable appointments and move prospects through the sales process quickly and efficiently through closing stages
  • Assist with and attend first Kick-off meeting for all new clients
  • Respond to Inside Sales leads of companies
  • Participate in ongoing weekly team meetings and sales training to continue to enhance product knowledge
  • Maintain knowledge of Zen Media products and services
  • Perform other duties as assigned related to sales lead generation activities and events
  • Achieves/exceeds appointment and Sales Metrics
  • Align with the best in class Zen Media marketing team on sales materials creation, needs, optimization, outbound messaging, and maintain a consistent feedback loop between sales efforts and marketing efforts (you represent feedback from the field talking to leads).


Qualifications


  • Must be in the Miami - South FL region - this is a hybrid role.
  • Bachelors degree required
  • 0-5 years of experience in a competitive environment with a record of success exceeding goals which may be demonstrated through previous sales work, competitive internships, excelling in collegiate sales competitions
  • Ability to analyze the needs of a client and provide strategic business solutions
  • Solid problem solving and consultative skills required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Highly self-motivated and results-oriented
  • Strong presentation, organization, multitasking, and time management skills
  • Experience with google suite products and best in class in using technology to enable sales efforts (CRM, AI, etc)
