Primary Services is actively recruiting for an AutoCAD Designer to support our prestigious client in the telecommunications industry. This role is ideal for professionals with 3-5 years of AutoCAD experience, looking to further develop their expertise in drafting and permitting. You will be working closely with senior team members to manage the workload and ensure timely project completion.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the workload of a senior AutoCAD Operator.
  • Draft and finalize site plans and construction maps.
  • Create and distribute maps for new construction and maintenance projects.
  • Work directly with project managers and coordinators to ensure all permits are completed on time.
  • Coordinate with city and county engineers on permitting issues.
  • Map and submit permits for various rights-of-way, including railroad, state, county, and city.
  • Provide construction crews with proper permit documentation for on-site work.
  • Update design drawings with “as-built” information.
  • Participate in an in-person interview and present examples of previous work in AutoCAD.


Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience with AutoCAD.
  • Experience with permits and drafting of maps is preferred but not required (training provided).
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
