ABOUT OUR CLIENT:

MP's Client is one of the largest independently owned insurance brokerage firms in the country providing a full range of employee benefits, compliance, and HR consulting services, along with retirement solutions for both the private and public sectors. The business was formed in 2008 and today serves over three million participants nationally in the K-12, Corporate and Government markets. MP's Client is hiring a full time remote Regional Director of Retirement Sales.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:

This incumbent will be responsible for positioning our clients products and services as the optimal choice for retirement plans in the assigned territory. This will encompass recordkeeping, third-party administration and defined benefit services. Cross-sell employee benefit products offered by our clients Partner Firms under their umbrella.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Add new clients through in person meetings and group presentations with distribution partners, financial intermediaries, and plan sponsors.
  • Draft and execute business development and sales plans.
  • Prepare and communicate activity and pipeline reports.
  • Assist in the development of new distribution partners.
  • Ensure effective control of sales metrics and budgets.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and communicate sales trends.
  • Monitor and communicate competitor information, including marketing activities, trends, products, services, and pricing.
  • Manage pipelines, and customer experience.
  • Provide feedback and constructive solutions on sales and marketing strategies.
  • Establish successful track record of selling retirement and employee benefit programs.


WHAT YOU NEED:

  • 10+ years of related business development experience, including experience selling qualified retirement plans through multiple distribution channels.
  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Series 65 or 66/63 required (or within 60 days of employment)


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Remote opportunity so long as you are within Pacific Northwest, Mountain Standard Time, or Southeast Region of the United States. This reasoning is based on selling territory.
