Our Client is Looking for an Epic/ EHR Project Manager in Fort worth, Texas.As a Senior Project Manager you will be an independent contributing IT professional within the Project Management family. The Senior Project Manager plays a critical role in the coordination and completion of a variety of IT projects.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate interdepartmentally to understand project scope, requirements, and success criteriaEnsure a common understanding by setting expectations in accordance with the Project Plan, in order to align the stakeholders and team members.Utilizing PMO Playbook and PMBOK best practices and process/knowledge areas to effectively manage and complete projectsManaging the development or direct creation of standard project artifacts and their updates as necessary (Project Charter, Project Resourcing/Staffing, WBS/Project Schedule, Requirements documentation, status reporting, presentations, communication plan, risk/issue registry, lessons learned, close out documentation, and others as required)Scope management and project change managementPPM/Project Management tool updates for assigned projectsManaging risks/issues and escalating as necessaryGuide and direct project team members to ensure compliance with set standards, procedures, and guidelinesEvaluate the progress of a project to detect limitations or faults to seek solutionsSuccessfully manage multiple initiatives simultaneouslyStakeholder managementProject portfolio managementAssist in the mentorship and development of more junior project managersAssist in internal PMO process improvement initiativesAssist in annual budgeting and portfolio planning activities QualificationsBachelor's degree required.Position requires 10 years or more of direct job-role experiencePosition requires 7 years or more of experience with EHR systemsPosition requires 5 years or more of experience with Epic Application Modules5 or more years working within a PMOExperience with software systems’ implementation lifecycleExperience in Waterfall project management methodology, Agile methodology experience is a plusExcellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and other subject matter expertsDemonstrated ability to take initiative, prioritize work, manage time and respond effectively to a rapidly changing environment.Ability to exercise sound political and environmental judgment as appropriate to support successful project implementation. Demonstrated knowledge and skills in assessing and mitigating risks through risk planning.Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborativelyStrong work ethic and a team-player attitude with a deep commitment to customer satisfaction Required SkillsPMP Certification requiredCSM Certification is a plus Preferred SkillsExperience with TMO Nuance (formerly Dragon Dictation)Experience with Sonify (patient-facing tool)Experience with Telemedicine platformsPosition requires 10 years or more of direct job-role experience. Position requires 7 years or more of experience with EHR systems. Position requires 5 years or more of experience with Epic Application Modules.
