Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced purchasing coordinator to serve under the supervision of the VP and Controller, assist with ordering and maintaining the supplies needed for ongoing participant care and continued operations.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Follow and enforce the company's procurement policies and procedures.
  • Utilize all electronic supply order systems for required supplies and any special-order items.
  • Verifying purchase requisitions against formulary and recommending alternatives.
  • Compiling, analyzing, and presenting data on sourcing and spend management.
  • Providing purchasing planning by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Ensure all purchases are completed within budgetary constraints.
  • Manage orders, returns, and relationships with vendors.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to function independently and be able to make decisions when circumstances when required.
  • Attention to detail.


Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • A degree in business management or a similar field is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in procurement.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
