This is a part-time in person position located in Columbia, TN. It is ideal for individuals passionate about interior design, space planning, and home furnishings. The role requires proficiency in customer interaction and assistance within a furniture retail sales setting, coupled with substantial experience in interior design or the home furnishing industry. A background working in a professional environment, alongside an adept understanding of the home furnishings sector and spatial dynamics of interior spaces, are critical assets for this role. Flexible scheduling options are available; however, weekend availability is required.


 

Responsibilities

  • Helping clients navigate selecting and purchasing of new home furnishings
  • Meet with clients in order to understand the client's objectives and desires
  • Communicate effectively with client, vendors and team in order to address client's needs
  • Opening and closing the retail showroom
  • Create quotes for clients and ensure full workflow is followed

Train and understand knowledge of our extensive list of manufacturers and products


Qualifications

  • 2- 3 year experience in sales and design. Preferably furniture sales and interior design
  • Strong creative and communication skills
