Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a professional services team lead - smart factories, in Orland Park, IL. The work will be done onsite two days a week. The rest will be work-from-home. This is a permanent job. Compensation is $175,000/yr + benefits.


Job Title: Manager, Smart Factory Services

Location: Greater Chicago Area

Job Description:

We are seeking a Manager for our Smart Factory Services with a focus on the North American continent, based in the Greater Chicago Area. The Team Lead MES Consultant will oversee our Consulting and Support teams, serving as both a mentor and leader. This role involves acting as a liaison between customers and our internal teams, driving business performance, and ensuring service excellence both internally and externally.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Consultant and Support teams, providing mentorship and leadership.
  • Facilitate collaboration between prospects, customers, and the internal consulting service team.
  • Foster an environment and culture that promotes Service Excellence.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs for both teams, providing regular updates and plans to leadership.
  • Optimize and efficiently schedule daily management and resource allocation.
  • Act as an escalation point for critical issues, coordinating internal collaboration for resolution.
  • Identify and eliminate bottlenecks affecting the consulting and support teams' progress.
  • Enhance and maintain existing processes and workflows.
  • Provide feedback, conduct performance reviews, and support team development.
  • Gain expertise in our software solutions, providing presales support including meetings, demos, and RFP responses.
  • Ensure team compliance with company policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years' relevant experience in manufacturing or manufacturing software.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
  • Proactive, problem-solving attitude with a drive for excellence and change.
  • Hands-on leadership skills with a holistic and creative problem-solving approach.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to change.
  • US Citizen or Green card holder.
  • Multilingual abilities in Spanish, German, French, or Portuguese are a plus.
