Company Description

Our client is an independent, family-owned fine jewelry store located in the prestigious King of Prussia Mall in the Philadelphia area. Renowned for their exquisite collection of fine jewelry and exceptional customer service, they have built a strong reputation over the years. As the owner begins to step back from daily operations, they are seeking a dynamic Store Manager to lead the team and maintain their high standards.


Objective of the Role

The Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience for customers. This role is crucial in supporting the owner in transitioning responsibilities while continuing to drive sales and maintain the store’s esteemed reputation. The ideal candidate will be a skilled manager with a passion for fine jewelry and a proven track record in retail sales.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
  • Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Provide exceptional customer service and personalized shopping experiences
  • Oversee inventory management and ensure the store is well-stocked and beautifully presented
  • Assist the owner in transitioning responsibilities and implementing new processes
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to attract and retain customers
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism
  • Conduct regular staff training and performance evaluations
  • Maintain accurate sales records and prepare reports for the owner
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment


Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in fine jewelry retail
  • Previous management experience in a retail setting
  • Strong sales background with a proven ability to meet and exceed targets
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and special events as needed
  • Ability to work closely with the owner and take on additional responsibilities as required
  • Strong knowledge of fine jewelry, gemstones, and precious metals
