Information Technology Infrastructure Specialist

Overview:We are seeking a technology professional to join our dedicated in-office team. The current team has broad technical backgrounds and supports all areas of technology, including user support. The ideal candidate will approach the role with curiosity, initiative, and critical thinking. Candidates must be hands-on problem solvers, capable of managing projects independently, and driven to delivering meaningful IT solutions.Responsibilities:Administer network infrastructure, including Wi-Fi networks, ensuring optimal coverage, security, and performance.Assist in server infrastructure support, disaster recovery planning, and cybersecurity initiatives.Administer access controls and security policies.Research and propose new technologies to improve department operations.Documentation of configurations, procedures, changes, and troubleshooting.● Serve as a liaison with third-party IT consultants.Manage IT vendor relationships.Provide technical support and guidance for all firm employees.Requirements:3+ years of experience in IT support and administration.In-office presence 5 days a week to enable close collaboration and ensure timely support.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organizationExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.Proven ability to think creatively, with an innovative approach to implementing and supporting systems.Active contributor to network-related projects, including implementations, upgrades and decommissioning of systems.Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices, including endpoint security, identity management, and MFA.
