Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent mix of education and relevant technical experience.
  • 8-10 years of experience within the engineering, aircraft manufacturing, modification, or operational sectors.
  • 2 to 5 years in a supervisory or management role within aircraft operations.
  • Experience in a Part 145 Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) environment is essential.
  • A background in engineering, interior completion centers, or repair station settings is advantageous.
  • Strong proficiency with hand tools, inspection instruments, and testing equipment.
  • Effective computer skills, including Microsoft Office, project management software, and other specialized applications.
  • Must possess strong attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and plan workloads.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness and availability to work extended hours as necessary.
  • FAR experience and aviation


Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers, contracts, and sales throughout the program's duration.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Identify, communicate, and fulfill customer needs.
  • Oversee project execution, ensuring alignment with budget, timeline, and scope.
  • Create and manage Program Management Plans, including communication strategies, schedule management, resource allocation, financial forecasts, and cash flow analysis.
  • Negotiate changes to the Statement of Work (SOW) and manage contract modifications, ensuring compliance and timely payments.
  • Provide input during the proposal stage on scheduling, specifications, and financial terms.
  • Assemble and coordinate cross-functional teams to meet program objectives, such as schedule adherence, budget control, and SOW compliance.
  • Report program performance to stakeholders through regular updates and status reports.
  • Proactively assess risks, anticipate potential issues, and implement solutions to complex problems.
  • Ensure subcontractor compliance with specifications and SOW requirements.
  • Collaborate with Certification staff to ensure all regulatory requirements are met and communicated.
  • Facilitate post-program reviews to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to other program managers and project teams.
  • Drive new business opportunities and expand current customer relationships by enhancing service offerings.
  • Standardize program management practices, policies, and templates.
  • Complete all required training on time.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.
