The Account Supervisor will oversee regional marketing and media campaigns that impact the Asian American consumer market. This role will require the candidate to have experience and expertise in evaluating and overseeing integrated multicultural marketing campaigns and strategies, including traditional and non-traditional cross-channel media and experiential plans.

Essential Functions


  • Serve as the main point of contact for agency regional automotive client business to handle current markets and pitch the immerging markets across the country
  • Build, edit and effectively present agency strategy and plans to key clients and stakeholders
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with agency partners, including opportunities for collaboration and strategic partnerships
  • Manage creative production for regional campaigns including not limited to broadcast, print, digital, and social
  • Identify local market experiential opportunities and build, and execute with the team
  • Collaborate with other agency departments and functions to develop and execute integrated and cross-channel campaigns
  • Provide oversight and manage the execution of creative and media campaigns including broadcast, digital, social, and experiential
  • Develop and lead strategies to help grow client market share, including opportunities within the Asian American segment
  • Oversee and manage agency budgets and projections
  • Execute and provide oversight of project briefs, conference reports, schedules and meetings



Other Functions:


  • Participate in new business pitches and presentations
  • Maintain an understanding and awareness of culture, industry trends, and media
  • Participate in other duties as assigned


Supervisory Responsibilities:


  • Setting clear objectives for team members.
  • Overseeing workflow and monitoring productivity.
  • Providing guidance and support through coaching.
  • Resolving issues within the team or on an individual basis offering constructive feedback as needed.
  • Foster knowledge-sharing across all disciplines to ensure collaborative and informed work.


Qualifications


  • Must have excellent client relations/people skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal, written and editing)
  • Possess a deep understanding of the Asian American community
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and keep track of timelines and budgets effectively
  • Solid understanding of marketing strategy, data analysis, creative, production, media, and budgets
  • Must possess the ability to multi-task and effectively manage deadlines
  • Ability to create budgets and monitor expenditures
  • Ability to adapt and provide strategic input and counsel to agency leadership, clients and key stakeholders
  • Must be able and willing to travel
  • South Asian or Chinese expertise plus


Education:

· Bachelor’s Degree (Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or a related field of study preferred)


Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of agency or related industry experience with account and client management experience in a marketing, advertising, or PR agency
  • Relevant experience in Asian American or multicultural marketing or advertising preferred
  • Experience in automotive or luxury brands is a plus
