What we are looking for

We are searching for a dynamic Trading Associate to join our trading team. The trading team executes a high volume of trades in equity, fixed income and option securities for our separately managed accounts, generates and maintains performance data for our clients and strategies and supports the quarterly client reporting process.

In addition, as a Trading Associate you will:

·        Prep, execute and allocate trades for our client accounts

·        Coordinate execution and settlement with our custodians and brokers

·        Maintain CRM records & conduct data audits

·        Update and maintain documentation and processes pages

·        Assist in back-office responsibilities ranging from forms submissions to voting on corporate actions

·        Field incoming trading, account maintenance and general information requests from clients on an as needed basis

·        Monitor developments in the market that effect trading activities


What you will bring

This role is for someone who has genuine interest in the world of wealth management, investments and financial markets and is passionate about processes and efficiency.

·        Attention to detail and exceptional organization. This position requires considerable coordination and follow-up. Being proactive and meticulous when it comes to processes is critical.

·        Ability to multi-task, work effectively in a team environment, take ownership of dedicated tasks, and look for ways to make current processes more efficient.

·        Professional attitude and strong written and verbal communication skills, as you will be predominantly working with high-net-worth clients and prospects.

·        Trade execution experience preferred, but not required

·        3-5 years of experience working in an investment advisory, asset management or financial services company

·        General understanding of global financial markets and macroeconomics.

·        Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a concentration in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business Administration or a related field

·        Computer Skills – expertise in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM, Bloomberg, Barclays and other data providers preferred

·        Intermediate to advanced Excel and math skills

·        Willingness to work during market hours

Compensation Structure

At CCA, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation. In accordance with CA law, we expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $65,000 to $95,000. Actual base salaries may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, and other job-related factors. Base salary is just one component of total compensation at CCA which may include, depending on eligibility: benefits, 401(k) retirement plan and ongoing share of team bonus structure.
