I am currently working with a leading AM LAW top 100 ranked firm, who are actively looking to recruit an associate who specializes in Life Science to join their Chicago office.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the firm's leading Technology and Intellectual Property Transactions group.
  • Handle life sciences transactions as well as broader cross-industry technology and intellectual property transactions.
  • Review, edit and draft contracts for pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device companies.
  • Contract negotiations.
  • Work with clients and key stake holders to ensure that agreements are aligned with business objectives and satisfy compliance issues.


Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a leading accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar of Illinois.
  • 3+ years of experience in life sciences contracts, ideally gained in a large law firm setting.
  • Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
