Our client is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Accessibility Consultant to join their dynamic team. This organization is dedicated to creating an inclusive world for individuals with disabilities, providing top-tier education, advocating for inclusion, and driving innovation. As a Senior Accessibility Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in making the world more accessible.


In this role, you will:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding their digital inclusion strategies and helping them build and scale their accessibility programs.
  • Assist clients in developing strategies, roadmaps, policies, and procedures to advance their enterprise-level accessibility programs.
  • Provide technical solutions and remediation guidance to remove accessibility barriers from digital experiences.
  • Conduct manual accessibility audits of digital properties, inspect web code or native apps, and identify accessibility issues using a variety of assistive technologies.
  • Create and present training materials to enhance understanding and implementation of accessibility standards.


The ideal candidate will have:

  • A proven track record of advising clients about inclusive design and digital accessibility standards.
  • Expert knowledge of W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, The Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 508, and evolving accessibility standards.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and WAI-ARIA (JavaScript a plus).
  • Experience with automated accessibility testing tools and the ability to interpret and prioritize results.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a related field such as computer science, digital design, or user experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in digital accessibility, software development, or digital design for user experience.
