As Benoure continues to build their operations, we are seeking an individual with a proven track record of driving financial performance and operational excellence to join the Benoure team as the Director of Finance. This role will serve as a key strategic partner to the leadership team, providing expertise and guidance in all aspects of accounting, financial management, and business administration. Reporting directly to the President, this role will be instrumental in driving financial strategy, operational excellence, and optimizing financial performance to support the company’s long-term objectives.
Responsibilities for this role include:
o Financial reporting and compliance
o Financial strategy, planning, and analysis
o Business administration
o Risk management and internal controls
o Finance leadership and team development
Ideal candidates will have:
o Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) strongly preferred.
o Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in GAAP accounting and financial management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
o Experience in the construction or mechanical contracting industry strongly preferred.
o Advanced understanding of AIA billing, retainage, and percentage of completion accounting.
o Advanced proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and financial management software (QuickBooks).
o Experience with contractor field management software (i.e. FieldEdge) strongly preferred.
o Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.

o Salary based on experience and market ($130,000 to $150,000)
