Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and Oversee: Manage daily kitting production activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and operational efficiency.
- Strategic Development: Implement strategies to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and reduce costs without compromising quality or safety.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and train production staff, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze KPIs related to production and warehouse operations, identifying areas for improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with logistics, procurement, and quality assurance teams to coordinate production schedules and resolve bottlenecks.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, oversee management processes, and conduct regular stock audits.
- Equipment Maintenance: Implement best practices for equipment maintenance, ensuring maximum uptime.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and identify opportunities for innovation.
Position Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, industrial engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in production supervision, with at least 3 years in kitting supervision.
- Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and WMS/ERP software.
- Certifications: Forklift certification and knowledge of safety regulations are a plus.
- Language: Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.
Working Conditions:
- Physical Demands: Keyboarding, sitting/standing, and occasional lifting up to 20lbs.
