Summary:
The HR Generalist role requires a comprehensive understanding of HR practices and demonstrated experience across several HR functions.
HR Support:
- Assist with key HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and policy creation.
- Act as a primary contact for employee HR inquiries, offering accurate, timely information and guidance.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Aid in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and initiatives.
- Support change management, continuous improvement, organizational effectiveness, and development.
- Facilitate strategic communications.
- Address compliance issues, including EEO/AAP, FLSA, and FMLA.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2 years of HR experience.
- 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S., with verification required at hire. Visa sponsorship is not provided.
- Ability to meet export control requirements for access to restricted items.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PHR certification is a plus.
- Strong capability to multitask and engage with all levels within the organization.
- Solid knowledge of HR practices, policies, and regulations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrates professionalism, maintains confidentiality, and has a customer-focused approach.
