Investment management experience is not required.



About the Role/Responsibilities

  • Identify creative learning experiences to enhance skillsets and create opportunities for connection across our global businesses
  • Work in partnership with investment leaders and HR partners across business units to build tailored, world-class learning programs
  • Develop curriculum and author training modules on relevant skill-based topics and enhanced consultative, project management, and interpersonal skills
  • Collect feedback, draw insights to share with leaders, and drive continuous improvement
  • Assist with other strategic initiatives related to investment professional learning across the firm


Qualification

  • MBA from an accredited institution is required
  • 8+ years of work experience, including management consulting at a top tier consulting firm
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex strategic projects with a strong interest in the development of talent
  • Must be business-oriented first, with a lens towards people development, to grasp the alternative asset business, strategy, and concepts in order to translate them into curriculum
  • Able to work comfortably and credibly with senior leadership as a trusted partner
  • Strong, professional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Able to anticipate, identify and deliver strong results in a fast-paced global environment, and can balance leading and being hands-on as required, in a team-based environment
  • Able to flex working schedule to accommodate global demand, and a willingness to travel to global programs (approximately 1 week every 3 months, including international travel)
  • Solid proficiency with Microsoft Office suite – especially PowerPoint and Excel; experience with survey design tools (e.g., Survey Monkey, Qualtrics, etc.), and familiarity with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Docebo, Cornerstone, etc.) highly desirable
